Our Purpose

This has not changed since the first moment Nimisha had the inspiration for the company.

Put simply, she wanted shoppers to pick up a packet of Nim’s and immediately think this is 100% natural. They didn’t need to turn the pack over to look at the ingredients label, they automatically trusted that anything with our logo on is made from the finest natural fruit and vegetable, with nothing added.

If we had thousands of pounds to spend on a fancy advertising campaign and some clever creative, you would be seeing ‘Nim’s Naturally’ plastered all over billboards and in all of the major magazines and across TV. Unfortunately, we don’t have that type of budget, but we still like the strapline and will have to use more modest ways of getting our message across, naturally.

Our Story

We love doing things differently at Nim’s, it’s just what we do.

From the moment our founder Nimisha Raja decided to put everything she owned into setting up the business, we have enjoyed rewriting the rule book when it comes to creating natural snacks.

Our products had to taste great, that was the starting point. And better still they had to come with so many health benefits from being fat, gluten and dairy free. Importantly, Queen’s Award Winner Nim’s would also be one of your five a day.

This is exactly what we achieved, making the most of our BRC certified factory in the heart of the Garden of England to come up with the UK’s only air-dried natural fruit and vegetable crisps.

We didn't stop there...

From a few initial varieties, we now have a range of up to eleven different types of crisps, five edible teas and, thanks to our ability to introduce new products, an exciting range of infusions, botanicals and ingredients that are being used in high-profile restaurants, on Eurostar and BA, the NHS and, if you like a tipple, the Craft Gin Club.

The appetite is growing every day for a healthier lifestyle and better diet and we are giving adults, parents and children the option to still enjoy great tasting snacks that are actually good for you.

What makes Nim’s different?

Each pack of Nim’s one ingredient fruit and vegetable crisps retains lots of the original nutritional content, including fibre and Vitamin C.

This means each packet counts as 1 of your 5 a day and, importantly, gives you fantastic flavour at no more than 78 calories, making them an ideal snack for adults and children alike.

We were also the first company in the UK to use all the whole fruit – that’s the skin, pips and core. This means there is zero food waste and, thanks to our unique air-drying method, we can achieve the rare combination of natural goodness, natural taste and real crunchiness.
